Browzifile
Despite my best attempts to keep my digital life organized, I always hit the same wall:
“Where did I put that file?”
Even with labeled folders and clean naming systems, search was always a pain.
I didn’t want to remember where a file was but I just wanted to describe it and find it, like I do on the web.
So I built Browzifile.
Browzifile is a lightweight desktop tool for Windows that lets you search your files by describing them, not just by remembering exact names or folders. It’s inspired by how we use Google: You type what you remember, and the most relevant results appear.
- Search using plain queries (natural language), not just exact filenames
- Results ranked by relevance
- Assign custom tags to files for smarter retrieval
- Automatic tags based on filename, extension and directory
- The ability to add an image to easily locate a file at a glance
- Automatic AI tagging based on file content (text, images, etc.)
- Context-aware search that understands what you mean, not just what you type
- Smarter filtering and prioritization
